IC: Ista Weyr is composed of eleven wings, this includes the Weyrling wing and the Queens wing. There should be between 20 to 30 pairs in each. And at most times the weyr has roughly two hundred fighting pairs.
OOC: There are four PC wings in which active characters are placed, these are:
Riptide - Weyrleader's wing
Spinnaker - All purpose, balanced wing
Twilight - Queen's wing
Undertow - Weyrling's wing
Since there are more spots in a wing to be filled than there are players, these empty slots are fleshed out with NPCs. At times leadership positions will also be filled by a non-playing character. This is by no means a permanent arrangement and if someone desires to fill a position they should contact Ista's admin in order to express that.
